Wheat Flour Tarts

Ingredients
Whole wheat flour…120 gms
Butter…80 gms
Powered sugar…30 gm
If you are making savoury tarts then add only 1teasp sugar and 1 tsp salt
1 or 2 spoons of milk if you need while making the dough
Vanilla essence

  • Method
  • Combine all the ingredients together with soft fingers
  • No need to knead the dough just combine together if you need can use milk little by little and make a soft dough
  • Take a small ball and put it in a tart shell and press and spread
  • Make all the shells with this small dough and prick it with a toothpick or small fork
  • Bake these tarts blind in 160 degrees in Oven as as well as in microwave convection for 10 to 12 mins
  • With this quantity, we will have 2 inches small …12 tarts

Fillings


Sweet fillings
Dark chocolate…100 gms
Dairy cream….50 gms
Butter…5 GM’s

  • Method
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds or in double boiler mix room temperature dairy cream and butter and mix nicely and your ganache is ready
  • Fill the empty tarts with this chocolate ganache and decorate with your imagination
  • Can have cream cheese sweet filling also
  • Savoury filling ideas
  • Can have pizza filling
  • Sweet corn filling
