Get to know how letting go of negative affirmations in our daily life can help us attain a superpower. Powerful sharing by Leadership Coach Sally Anderson a guest influencer for Leadership at Womenlines panel from New Zealand. Sally has privately coached key influencers internationally: CEO’s/executive teams/C-Suite forums/entrepreneurs/celebrities/politicians/millionaires/billionaires over 20 years.
Language creates the reality of your world, if you wish to change the reality of your world, change your language! As a coach intuitive I coach to cause not symptom – language is my vehicle to intuit the causal dynamics running for my clientele. Part of the human condition is to subconsciously, and sometimes consciously feeding negative affirmations that completely sabotage possibility. These negative affirmations I call, ‘relinquishment buckets’. Throw away statements that are repeatedly stated and yet there is a massive disconnect to the cost of feeding these statements on a regular basis.
What are the stock standard negative affirmations bucket, throw-away statements that human beings use daily?
I refer to them below:-
1. I don’t have enough TIME
2. I don’t have enough ENERGY
3. I don’t have enough MONEY
4. I don’t know HOW – some level of CONFUSION
5. Manifesting illness
These are powerful negative affirmations we affirm every day! How convenient you perceive that you do not have the time, money, energy, or don’t know how etc, you don’t have to be responsible for what it is you say that you want.
Through group facilitation over 2 decades, I would ask retreat participants to turn to the person next to them and share what their common relinquishment buckets were and then ask in a round-robin setting to then share with the group. The purpose was two-pronged. (1) To land for the group how common these throw away statements are as part of the human condition and (2) The power of awareness-based training and that once aware one can change the dysfunctional dynamic.
I am a proponent of reverse psychology, through the power of awareness one then uses the negative statement as an access point to call themselves to account, for when one is:-
COMMITTED one ALWAYS:-
1. Finds the time
2. Finds the money
3. Finds the energy
4. Works out the HOW
5. And looks after their wellbeing such that they do not manifest an illness to abdicate responsibility for showing up in the world!
It’s ludicrous to continue to feed a negative affirmation that does not serve you.
In a given day if you focus your awareness on this dynamic you will hear it EVERYWHERE. In your children, in your partner, in your friends, in your work colleagues, in your family, in your company culture. It comes with the human territory and what it highlights is the level of disassociation evident in our society.
Evidence-based people are waiting for evidence to show up BEFORE they trust and folks if you are unconsciously feeding these relinquishment buckets daily it does not take a rocket scientist to understand why you life is showing up as it is. What you feed is what you manifest!
Trust and possibility based people know if they trust the reward will be evidence! Try on you are the creator of your reality, this is not a new concept but until you truly shift this dynamic then you will find enough evidence to sink a ship that will keep the dysfunctional dynamic in place. How many books do we need to read that say be careful what you think your thoughts create your reality – hello, they do!
Maybe just maybe it is time to shift your ‘stinking thinking’ and learn what it takes to live and lead a COMMITTED life for the alternative is just ludicrous!
I will leave you in the inquiry today! What are your relinquishments buckets and what could be possible if you no longer tolerated them? What could you accomplish?

Womenlines takes pleasure to share powerful knowledge about EFT Tapping from the expert Suzanne Alfandri, from the USA. In the video above Suzaane has shared the right way of EFT Tapping to generate optimism within self.
Many people feel depleted from how long they have been missing connection, fun and joy. Tap along to reduce some depletion and feel hopeful for things changing for the better. Empty, FillingUp, Optimism.
What is EFT Tapping?
EFT tapping employs the use of patients tapping their fingers on 10 acupuncture meridian points while repeating specific statements suggested by the therapist from the information the client provides. These procedures eliminate negative beliefs and increase physical health and mental well being.
According to a 2012 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, up to 80% of visits to primary care doctors are related to stress. Clinical trials have shown that EFT removes emotional trauma and accelerates the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Over 100 clinical trials published in peer reviewed medical and psychology journals clearly demonstrate that EFT is effective for:
• phobias
• anxiety
• depression
• physical and emotional pain
• posttraumatic stress disorders (e.g. PTSD)
Additionally, EFT treatment helps people improve their business, athletic and artistic performances.

It is a pleasure to share about Senior Physiotherapist Shubhangi Gaikwad from the United Arab Emirates as an Influencer for health and fitness at Womenlines panel. A Dedicated PT offering 10 years of acute-chronic care experience. This month Shubhnagi is sharing tips for creating Ergonomic Friendly Kitchen for Happy and Healthy Cooking–
As the office ergonomics is essential in the workspace, so do we have to think about kitchen safety for physical fitness of a person spending hours in the kitchen.
Usually, when family decides to renovate or construct a kitchen, they spend a long time choosing right colours of the wall, shelves, gadgets, tiles, sinks, tapes etc. but they forget the importance of measurements, placement, correct utensil choice, proper lighting, and floor selection.
As the kitchen is the place, which is in everyday use in all homes, and in most part of the world, women are responsible for all the cooking, baking, and cleaning chores. And women account large number in having many common aches and pain. Also in my clinic, we receive many chefs coming with various musculoskeletal problems.
How the kitchen can lead to physical injury, aches and pains?
There are various factors in the kitchen which leads to many musculoskeletal issues.
- Awkward postures
- Repetitive movement of small and big joints
- Traction and compression force injury
- A long duration of a task
Listed factors can be eliminated if a kitchen is properly designed and one has a basic knowledge of ergonomics to avoid injury. For example, while chopping and cutting on the kitchen platform, there is continuous wrist and hand movement, if a person is cutting and chopping with the wrist in extreme flexion or extension, it leads to carpal tunnel syndrome, severe wrist pain. Tennis elbow, etc. And if the platform height is not appropriate it can lead to repetitive injury in back and shoulders too just by doing continuous chopping and cutting activity every day.
Ladies who are more involved in baking on large scale or on a regular basis, have a chance of getting traction and compression injuries if they are not aware of the correct way of holding and carrying various things in the kitchen.
Simple posture assessment followed by postural correction technique can make many women more active and much happier in the kitchen if they are pain-free and out of any musculoskeletal injury risk.
Things to check around in your kitchen.
- Work centre – avoid back and forth walking, choose a central area to work
- Storage units – accessible as per your requirement
- Worksurface heights and designs – for correct posture while working in the kitchen
- Comforting Floor- for easing long working hour in the kitchen
- Lightning of kitchen-
- Control panels
These are some quick tips on what you should check for the kitchen safety. Kitchen ergonomics is as important as office ergonomics. Correct space around your kitchen and stay fit.
For any doubt or consultation, feel free to write back to me.
