Women in business are growing worldwide in numbers. There’s been progress in the number of established businesses owned by women across the globe but one field where there is a big gap to be filled is the percentage of financial literate women! In this article, I am listing tips suggested by Kim Kiyosaki on how womenfolk can have financial education!

Low literacy rates about finance impact the lives of women as they work harder many time settle for earning less. They also can face serious repercussions like taking on large amounts of credit card debt and they can also experience difficulty managing their investments and taxes. Women were never taught about money. Especially when women get older due to bad money management find themselves in a financial crisis.

In this video published by YouTube channel London Real Kim Kiyosaki, an internationally renowned speaker, author, entrepreneur, real estate investor, radio show host, and partner in the Rich Dad company, alongside her husband Robert Kiyosaki has shared -What it Really Takes for the Reward of Financial Freedom!

She began investing in real estate in 1989, and now own over 7000 rental units, 2 hotels and 4 golf courses, as well as commercial properties and other investments. Today she is known as an outspoken advocate for female financial education, with her books Rich Woman and It’s Rising Time, by challenging the way tens of millions of women around the globe, think about money.

Numbers tell story to me!

Kim Kiyosaki

London Real is the curator of people worth watching. Its mission is to promote personal transformation through inspiration, self-discovery and empowerment. They feature interesting guests with fascinating stories and unique perspectives on life. They aim to take viewers on a journey through the lives of others and ultimately inspire them to embark on one of their own.

How Women In Business can get Financial Education?

  1. Women-owned businesses are making less money. Challenge yourself as women in business to look at how big your business can be.
  2. Learn the language about money. There is a lot of jargon to be understood.
  3. Income, expense, asset, liability, cash flow- all topics terms to be understood clearly by every woman in business.
  4. Find in which sector you are interested and educate yourself- business, real estate, stock market, paper assets, commodities like gold, silver, oil, gas, soybean, coffee.
  5. Pick one asset, learn a little bit and start putting little money down.
  6. Nobody will understand your money better than you. Play the Cashflow game. There are Cashflow game clubs.
  7. Passive incomes should be greater than active income, always remember.
  8. Don’t focus on income, focus on creating assets and then assets create income for you.
  9. Three important characteristics for women in business-resiliency, sense of purpose, optimism!
  10. The relationship with money has to be clear. Women in business should be charging for whatever problem they are solving through their business.
  11. Buy one share of stock, maybe 2 shares, start making phone calls to brokers, buy one silver or gold in, observe the market, accumulate knowledge and learn how the market works. Then start investing mre.

Womenlines takes pleasure to run an IWD special series ‘Entrepreneur of the week’ sharing about incredible health experts from across the globe! This week listen to Sara Jager, who is part of the @women of truth thought leaders revolutionising Women’s health 2021, sharing amazing insights about how she helps womenfolk to access the health and wealth in their body through their monthly cycle management!

Sara Jager

Helping women changemakers to reset their rhythm and adapt the way they eat, move, work, create and relate during different phases of the month so that they can avoid burnout, thrive with their cycle and activate their potential of power, pleasure and purpose.

Sara Jager is a Cycle Awareness Mentor, Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Teacher and Cultural Anthropologist.

After experiencing burnout at a young age, her healing journey started with moving to New Zealand, learning from Maori healers, plant medicine, undertaking a shamanic medicine woman training, learning about nutrition at retreat centres and organic and permaculture farms. Interest in holistic health led her to study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and complete several Yoga Teacher Training.

Working with women in the field of wellness, she couldn’t help to notice that despite all the tools and practices, the struggle to sustain healthy habits, in the long run, was still present.

After learning that the key to understanding women’s needs lies in the menstrual cycle, which affects all areas of life, she created her signature practices (The Cycle Cleanse, Wild Woman Yoga, Cycle Workflow) that support women to adapt how to eat, move, work, create and relate according to the different phases of the cycle.

Her mission is to spread the awareness that honouring the menstrual cycle isn’t just an alternative or a luxury, but an essential part every woman needs to address. Besides being vital for creating and sustaining health and avoiding burnout and disease, it also allows women to unlock their potential of purpose, power and pleasure.

Originally from Slovenia, Sara currently lives in Malta and works with women changemakers, leading individual and group online retreats and programs weaving together holistic nutrition, self care practices, yoga, mindfulness and embodiment practices as well as womb, energy and archetype work. Besides holding space for mindset and energy transformations, her emphasis is on creating practical and sustainable change by designing a cycle friendly lifestyle.

Are you ashamed of asking for help and support for your work? You should take your vulnerability as your biggest strength. Powerful sharing by Leadership Coach Sally Anderson, a guest influencer for Leadership at Womenlines panel from New Zealand. Sally has privately coached key influencers internationally: CEO’s/executive teams/C-Suite forums/entrepreneurs/celebrities/politicians/millionaires/billionaires over 20 years.

I wrote this article back in Jan 2021, entitled ‘Mental Health Is A Taboo Subject At The Executive Level’ – https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/mental-health-taboo-subject-executive-level-sally and felt called today to speak into another pressing issue currently in the leadership space and that is one of ‘asking for support.  In this article, I reference: 60% of employees have never spoken to anyone at work about their mental health status – referenced stat from this terrific article – https://hbr.org/2019/10/research-people-want-their-employers-to-talk-about-mental-health – If this is the case I can assure you that the statistic would be much higher for our most senior leaders. This in my opinion is not only concerning but a crime. Senior leaders are not devoid of needing support, especially in these unprecedented times BUT to what degree are we proactive in creating an environment of support for ALL, not just the employee base.

If we are to believe traditional linear ‘hard skills leadership is dead how will our top-level leaders globally learn, embrace and discover the power of non-traditional, non-linear ‘soft skills leadership if they are unwilling to admit that they too need support. We as humans let alone leaders are not comfortable with admitting we need support/help. The degree of demands specifically on those leaders in the political/corporate arena is more extreme now than ever before. So the question begs to what degree, especially in these unprecedented times, do we acknowledge the need to provide support to those at the highest level, in the face of it not being acknowledged?

So what’s really going on? Why do we have an aversion to asking for support? Usually, the following top 12 fear-based dynamics are playing out:-

1.   Fear of losing their role/job

2.   Fear of being judged

3.   Fear of being viewed as incompetent

4.   Fear of being replaced by someone else

5.   Fear of it being ‘put on record’ formally

6.   Fear of taking time out and how this will be viewed

7.   Fear of stigmatisation

8.   Fear of the financial implications

9.   Fear of not being supported if one divulges what is going on

10. Fear of being vulnerable

11. Fear of others opinions

12. Fear of being fired, made redundant and being moved on

For organisational cultures to survive long term, they need to create a safe environment where ‘mental health is normalised and viewed as important as talking about the bottom line results, after all, the health of your people reflects the health of your bottom line, FACT!

Mental health sadly is a difficult issue to discuss, address at the best of times in the workplace but mental health is rarely if ever spoken about at the most senior level. The degree of discretion, privacy and confidentiality needed is paramount. To what degree are you being proactive within your caucus/board/executive team meetings to speak into this issue? In your inner sanctum meetings is this on the agenda, front and centre? If it is not, then I highly recommend that you consider that it is tabled. I guarantee if you do ‘go there, the level of discussion will transcend your effectiveness as a collective.  Food for thought today!

Womenlines takes pleasure to share about an International Online Conference organised by Creative Society. Creative Society is a worldwide project of ALLATRA International Public Movement and it concerns everyone. Creative Society team believes –

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO CAN CHANGE THIS WORLD.
IT IS THE TIME! What is happening to the world today is the result of the consumerist format of society. For our humanity to survive, we need a new format of society — A CREATIVE ONE!

Creative Society

We live in a unique time when the Truth is being shared and people are no longer silent about what has been withheld for the past 6,000 years! All of the prophets came from one God and brought to all mankind one Truth which unites us all. For God is one and the Truth is one for all!

At all times the prophets have spoken of one thing: a life of love and equality, of peace and justice – of a Creative and an Ideal society. But why aren’t we living this way? The time has come when we CAN make real what the prophets dreamed of! How will we use this chance?

On March 20, 2021, at 15:00? GMT on the platform of allatraunites.com, the Third International Online Conference “The Creative Society. What the Prophets Dreamed Of” took place. It was a conference organized through the initiative of people from around the world, with live streaming and simultaneous interpretation into more than 35 languages!

Let’s bring all of humanity together to find answers to the global and vitally important questions that affect everyone: – What or who is the cause of all wars and strife in our society? – Power of Love: what did the prophets bequeath? – How does consumerism distort the truth? – What is the Creative Society and how to build it? – What is the role of each person in building the Creative Society? – How and on what basis can people from around the world unite today? – What are the steps in the process of building the Creative Society? – What role does inform people play in building a creative format of society in the quickest way possible? – What can you do to ensure that you, your family, children, and grandchildren live in a society worthy of a Human?

And exactly today thanks to modern technologies, the unification of all the people on earth around a shared goal is becoming a reality. Only we, the people, by uniting, can bring to life a Creative Society, that society, which the Prophets dreamed of throughout time. The live broadcast on March 20, 2021, is translated into more than 35 languages

The Womenlines team wishes a very Happy Holi 2021 to all its subscribers and followers!

Holi is such a beautiful festival which brings the element of celebration of various colours of life with family, friends, and dear ones!!

This year Womenlines Team’s heartfelt wish is may the colours of Holi spread happiness, gaiety, peace and love all around.

Happy Holi 2001

May God gift you all the colours of life, colours of joy, colours of happiness, colours of friendship, colours of love and all other colours you want to paint your life in.

Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival, also known as the “festival of love”, the “festival of colours”, and the “festival of spring”. The festival celebrates the eternal and divine love of Radha and Krishna. It also signifies the triumph of good over evil. It originated and is predominantly celebrated in India but has also spread to other regions of Asia and parts of the Western world through the diaspora from the Indian subcontinent.”(credit Wikipedia)

The Holi festival has a cultural significance among various Hindu traditions of the Indian subcontinent. It is the festive day to end and rid oneself of past errors, to end conflicts by meeting others, a day to forget and forgive. People pay or forgive debts, as well as deal anew with those in their lives. Holi also marks the start of spring, an occasion for people to enjoy the changing seasons and make new friends. During traditional Holi celebrations in India, Rinehart writes, colours are exchanged in person by tenderly applying coloured powder to another person’s cheek, or by spraying and dousing others with buckets of coloured water.”(credit Wikipedia).

Let’s take the opportunity to start fresh, forget past errors, forgive others past errors, and bring new energy in life!

Happy Holi!!!

Womenlines takes pleasure to share about Ms Ketki Vinayachandra as an ‘Influencer of Health’ at the Womenlines panel. Ketki is sharing articles and videos related to excellence in health through Naturopathy at Womenlines. Ketki is a trained Naturopath and she is quite passionate about creating awareness about Naturopathy across the world. In this video, Ketki is sharing 8 Hacks for wholesome health for women!

Healthy habits are the best way to keep diseases away, prolonging life, and live more happily. But in the chaos of a woman’s everyday life, healthy living for self is never a priority in front of chores, work, busy schedules, and more. Every woman should follow these simple steps toward a longer, healthier life.

It is a common saying that women are strong! However, it isn’t easy to deal with the present lifestyle, managing work pressure and family. The amount of daily stress that a woman deals with, somewhere or the other ends up affecting physically and emotionally too.

Thus it is very important to start giving priority to healthy behaviours while women are still young, and they are more likely to follow those habits for the rest of their life. Once women start incorporating healthy habits in their daily life it would be much easier to walk towards a longer, healthier life.

Ketki Vinayachandra

“As a Naturopathic health practitioner, I strongly believe that we need to invest wisely in our health. The everyday choices we make in terms of our lifestyle and how we treat our body can either create healing or disease. While ageing is inevitable, diseases are not.”
