Putting your products on Amazon isn’t an immediate track to success. Learn here about the details that make an attractive product page on Amazon.

Any small business looking to expand its customer base will inevitably look to Amazon Marketplace as a selling platform. With a massive number of customers purchasing things every day, it’s a good way to expand your potential. You’ll need an attractive product page if you want to close those sales, though. Here, we’ll look at what makes a good product page on Amazon so that you can turn those views into sales.

Detailed Descriptions

Amazon itself might have all your product’s important information stored in a UPC barcode. But you’ll need to use the product description to tell your customers why they should buy your product over a competitor’s. Product descriptions should be easy to read without too much-complicated jargon or lots of numbers. Potential customers will read them rather quickly, so keep the information short and casual to make the best impression possible.

Amazon-Specific Keywords

Any kind of search engine will rely on keywords to help customers find what they actually need. Where a search engine like Google uses keywords to find relevant information, Amazon’s search function uses keywords to pair up products with customers. The keywords you use for Google won’t serve you as well on Amazon. It’s a good idea to analyze the keywords for your product in the context of Amazon’s market before you put them on the page.

High-Quality Images

A key element of a good Amazon product page is the presence of images that accurately and clearly show off what your product is. Stock images, watermarked images, or images that you don’t take yourself don’t just look unprofessional; they might give the customer the wrong idea about your products. This could mean they overestimate what the product is or immediately go to competitors with higher-quality images. Take your pictures seriously unless you want your customers to be unpleasantly surprised when the item actually shows up.

Accurate Product Features

The product features section of the product page is a bulleted list of the most important details about your item. Unlike the description, this is where you want to be very precise in your wording. If your product has a specific measurement, such as height or width, this is where you put that measurement. You can also describe the materials used to make your product or other important details, such as guarantees or warranties you offer. These should be straight to the point without any additional fluff in the wording.

When you take the time to create a good product page on Amazon, you show that your business cares enough to put its best foot forward. Competition can be fierce on Amazon Marketplace, but an excellent product page will give you a leg up.

Women have made incredible contributions to our society and it is important to recognize women’s greatest achievements and honor these female pioneers. From the suffragettes of the 19th century who fought for women’s right to vote, to modern-day activists who are advocating for gender equality, these women have helped shape the world we live in today.

Their accomplishments should not be forgotten. We must acknowledge their efforts and celebrate their achievements in order to create a better future for all of us. By recognizing their contributions, we can also inspire future generations of women to continue making a difference in our society.

Women athletes have been making an enduring impact on sports and fitness since the beginning of time. From ancient Greek warriors to modern-day Olympians, female athletes have been pushing the boundaries of physical performance and inspiring generations of women to pursue their athletic dreams. Today, women are competing in more sports than ever before and continuing to break gender barriers in athletics. As a result, they are creating a lasting legacy that will continue to shape the future of sports and fitness for years to come.

Women’s Greatest Achievements

Today Womenlines is celebrating the great achievements of Nadia Comaneci from Romania.

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian retired gymnast and a five-time Olympic gold medalist, all in individual events. In 1976, at the age of 14, Comaneci was the first gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10.0 at the Olympic Games.[ At the same Games (1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal) she received six more perfect 10s for events en route to winning three gold medals. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow Comaneci won two more gold medals and achieved two more perfect 10s. During her career, Comaneci won nine Olympic medals and four World Artistic Gymnastics Championship medals.

One of the world’s best-known gymnasts, Comaneci, along with Olga Korbut of the Soviet Union, displayed artistry and grace, which brought unprecedented global popularity to the sport in the mid-1970s. In 2000, Comaneci was named one of the Athletes of the 20th Century by the Laureus World Sports Academy.

Determining which type of packaging your products need can be tricky. Use our list of factors to help you choose a packaging solution for your products.

When it comes to packaging products, your business can choose between many different materials and configurations. These include paperboard and corrugated boxes, folding and rigid cartons, poly bags, Styrofoam containers, etc. With various materials to choose from, how should you determine which type of packaging your products need? Keep reading for an in-depth look at the factors you should consider when finding the appropriate packaging for your products.

Set a Budget First

Before you even consider the package’s material, size, or design, you must set a budget to avoid overspending. While you want the best protection for your products, you must stay within your budget. Otherwise, you could run out of expenses for other essential business endeavors or purchases. For example, glass containers are much more expensive to purchase, so you might want to use wood or cardboard in the meantime until you can increase your budget.

Durability for Transportation

A large component of choosing your packaging involves considering how durable the carton needs to be to protect what’s inside. If the package were to go through damage during transportation, would it still keep your product safe? For example, you could consider the reasons businesses use rigid carton packaging. It’s highly durable, easy to use, and attention-grabbing.

Keep in mind the type of product you’re packaging and what materials are best for keeping that item safe until it reaches the customer. For instance, if you sell coffee mugs, dense Styrofoam or corrugated cardboard with bubble wrap is perfect for preventing breakage.

Consider Sustainability

Sustainability and improving our environment is a trend you’ll see companies enacting in their businesses this year. Using sustainable packaging reduces your carbon footprint and waste, increases sales, and brings social responsibility to your business. In fact, with an upswing in sustainable trends, we’re finding that companies that adopt this strategy are outperforming the businesses ignoring this movement.

Customer Appeal

Aside from being more sustainable and using durable materials, you must also keep in mind the appeal your packaging has to customers. Plain packaging with little to no labels or branding will look bland on the shelves or your website, making customers less likely to purchase the items within. You should optimize your packaging to protect your products and market them to potential customers. Consider colour, imagery, wording, and other features when determining which type of packaging your products need. While selling your physical products is the goal, you can’t achieve this without the proper packaging. The design and materials you choose could make or break whether an item sells. You may need to go through trial and error before finding the perfect solution. Remember, you can always exchange your packaging for new materials as you develop your strategy.

Shipping costs can eat heavily into your profit margin as a company, so it’s important that you learn how to reduce shipping costs to make more money. Every business wants to cut costs where possible to increase its profits, and a great place to do that is in your shipping. Sending products to customers is a major part of your profit, but it can cost quite a bit. You can use these methods to help reduce the cost of shipping items.

Change Packaging

One of the best ways to save money is to cut down on the price of each unit that you send out. Take a look at your packaging and try to determine how you can use fewer materials to send it out. Cutting down on inches will save you a lot of money over time.

Recycle Materials

The materials you use to send out items aren’t just waste when you’re done with them; you can reuse and recycle them to save money. For example, you can send your pallets to a recycling company, which can benefit your company in many ways, including saving money.

Use Discounted Materials

If you can’t change the packaging’s size and shape, you can likely change out the materials to other options. There are plenty of ways to find cheaper materials that won’t lower the quality of your product. For example, utilizing recycled plastic instead of buying straight from a manufacturer can save you money over time.

Limit Mistakes

Every company can make mistakes when shipping out items, but limiting the number of mistakes you make is a great way to reduce the cost of shipping. Every mistake can cost money to fix and annoy customers. Use inventory management software to help manage your shipments to lower the risk of mistakes.

Every one of these changes can have a huge impact on the cost of shipping for every unit you send out, which will save you money and increase your profit margins. That’s why making these changes is so important for every business.

Womenlines takes pleasure to share an insightful article about how to stop negative self-talk by Business Coach Annie Gibbins from Australia-

“I’ve never been good with money.”

“I hate budgets.”

“I’ll never be a 6-figure earner.”

“My market won’t pay premium prices.”

If you’ve ever heard these statements come out of your mouth—or even in your head—then you’re engaging in a damaging habit known as negative self-talk. By telling yourself these lies (and yes, they are lies) you’re reinforcing the beliefs that go along with them.

What you visualize and believe is what becomes true.

Tell yourself that you’re not good with money, and you won’t be. Believe that budgets are horrible chores to be reviled, and you’ll resist creating one. Convince yourself that you can’t earn a 6-figure income, and you won’t.

It’s not “the secret.” It’s a scientific fact. Known as a self-fulfilling prophecy, this kind of self-talk results in poor performance simply because we act as if it’s already true.

If you tell yourself that you’ll never be a 6-figure earner, you will not do the things that 6-figure business owners do. You won’t work to grow your mailing list (“No one reads my emails anyway”), you won’t increase your coaching rates (“It’s not like I’m some top-earning coach”), and you won’t build a brand worthy of a 6-figure income (“A beautiful brand isn’t necessary at this income level”).

By contrast, if you act and think as if you already are a 6-figure earner, you’ll approach your business quite differently. Your confidence level will increase. You’ll present a very different brand to your prospective clients. You’ll go out of your way to connect with those who can and will afford to pay your higher rates.

How to Combat Negative Self Talk

The first step toward changing your negative self-talk is to simply acknowledge that you do it. Tick a mental checkbox every time you catch yourself making negative statements, whether out loud or in your head.

Make a note of the ones that come up most often for you, and identify their origin if you can. For example, if your ex-husband continually berated you for your spending habits, chances are your “I’m no good with money” mantra can be laid right at his feet. It’s time to turn that thinking around.

The next time you catch yourself saying “I’m no good with money,” take a minute to recall 5 instances where you were good with money. Maybe you paid off your credit cards or saved for a house or built an emergency fund. Rephrase your self-talk to, “I used to be bad with money [if that’s true], but now I make smart choices to achieve my goals.”

Just as negative self-talk becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, so does positive self-talk. Reframe your thinking, and your business finances will certainly improve.

Are you aware that self-made richest women across the globe are less than 4% of the planet’s billionaires, as reported by Forbes?

The number is low but those who have their name on the list must have some exceptional qualities. What did they do to get there? How did they start? What were the key moments? They are able to take their dreams and turn them into reality through money management, opportunity spotting and exact planning.

There are so many different factors, from personality to social circles that go into why self-made wealthy women continue with their success. It’s rare, but it happens and these women have interesting habits that have helped them along the way. These women used their unique background and skill set to take advantage of opportunities they saw around them. They came from all walks of life, with varied educations, but all share one trait that helped them create their empire: entrepreneurial attitude. There are many inspiring, self-made women in the world who have managed to build a business of their own. That said, not all of the wealthiest people today started out with an easy path to this status. Sometimes, they’re entrepreneurs who worked tirelessly for years before finally seeing success. Other times, they’re female daredevils who risked everything to chase their dreams.

It’s no secret that self-made wealthy women are a rare breed. For many, their success comes from developing habits that help them reach their goals. What makes these habits different for these rich women? And what can we learn from them? What makes these women so successful and why? How do they view their success? However, there are some self-made women who have made a fortune for themselves through hard work and dedication. Learn about the habits and strategies these women used to get ahead of the game. The story of female billionaires worldwide is often a story of early investment and hard work. In recent years, the number of wealthy women has grown and they have become more visible in the business world. Many self-made women got their start by starting their own businesses at a young age. They took entrepreneurial risks early on and worked hard through challenges that threatened to end their careers. But what also helped them was some unique habits and personal traits that helped them succeed as entrepreneurs.

The entrepreneurial journey of these self-made women to join the mega-rich billionaire cannot be called an easy feat! Fueled by a creative spirit and innovative mindset to defy all odds, women have worked hard to build unique paths for themselves.

Japan, Germany, France, Canada, and S. Korea are the world’s largest economies without a single self-made woman billionaire,” Rupert Hoogewerf, Hurun’s chairman and chief researcher, said in the report. “The 124 known self-made women billionaires come from just 16 countries, meaning that 180-plus countries still do not have a single one. Read some interesting facts about these women who are billionaires-

Judy Faulkner  ($6.9 billion)

Faulkner was born in 1943 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Dickinson College and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Faulkner started Human Services Computing, which later became Epic Systems, shortly after receiving her master’s degree. Judy Faulkner is the hands-on programmer who pioneered the concept of patient-centric digital medical records in the US. In a Wisconsin basement in 1979, Faulkner launched Epic Systems with “one-and-a-half employees”. Today, the company resides on a 1,100-acre countryside campus and employs nearly 10,000 people. The company has never raised venture capital or made an acquisition, and develops all its software in-house.

Faulkner taught herself the basics of coding in just one week during her undergraduate years — and went on to become a computer science professor. It was during that time, in the mid-1970s, that she had the stroke of inspiration that would lead to the founding of Epic Systems. Distracted and daydreaming, she was suddenly hit by an idea about Epic Systems.(Credit www.cfi.co)

Zhou Qunfei ($5.4B)

Zhou Qunfei is a Chinese entrepreneur who founded the major touchscreen maker Lens Technology. After the public listing of her company on the Shenzhen ChiNext market in March 2015, her net worth reached US$10 billion, making her the richest woman in China. Zhou, the 48-year-old CEO of Lens Technology, has built an empire manufacturing glass for tech giants such as Tesla, Apple and Samsung, but it hasn’t been an easy ride to the top. A migrant factory worker as a teenager, Zhou has gone on to become one of the world’s richest self-made women. In 1986, at age 16, Zhou dropped out of high school to work as an assembly worker in a watch lens factory. She took accounting classes at night and dreamed of starting her own business.

By 1993, she’d saved 20,000 HK dollars (or about $2,500) to set up her first company — a family watch lens workshop. She and her seven cousins and siblings worked and lived together in a three-bedroom apartment for four years. (credit: www.cnbc.com)

Falguni Nayar ($4.08 billion)

A decade after she quit her job to start Nykaa, Falguni Nayar debuted on the Forbes India Rich List 2022 at rank 44. Nayar, 59, has a net worth of $4.08 billion. She is one of the nine women billionaires on this year’s list.

Falguni Nayar quit her job as an investment banker in 2012 to start Nykaa, an online e-commerce platform for beauty and personal care products. The company opened its initial public offering (IPO) on October 28, 2021. Nayar, who owned a 53.5% stake in the company, became India’s wealthiest self-made female billionaire on a listing day.(credit www.moneycontrol.com). However, Falguni had a “self-imposed deadline” that she has to give entrepreneurship a try by the time she is 50. And thus Nykaa was born in 2012 as Falguni exited from Kotak. At that time, her children (twin Anchit and Adwaita) left to study in the US and she had the time she needed to focus on her entrepreneurship project.
