Womenlines welcomes Dr Tazeen Siddiqui as a guest contributor at Womenlines. She is the Managing Director at Mansha Educational Society, India. In her article, Dr Tazeen is sharing about interesting cookies which can do wonders in the workplace, named as ‘Mental Fortune Cookies’-
‘Mental Fortune Cookies’ can be helpful to run an efficient organization!
Organizations need to develop their team into not just efficient employees, but as the family who owns it completely. When the feeling of ownership is felt in every employee that “It is mine “then starts the real and pure power of giving the best with the right attitude of ownership and compassion.
To develop a great team, we need to provide them with” Mental Fortune cookies ” in the environment of the workplace that includes the freedom to raise their opinion and freedom to express their hearts and worries. Most important aspects of “Mental Fortune Cookies” that make their life taste the best is the ‘Mental Peace’ that is generated by Justice, Equality, Compassion and Freedom. Mental Fortune cookies that are cooked with ingredients of justice, equality, compassion, trust and freedom for the team taste the best as it is loved by all and the magic of it when shared leads to the transformation of hearts and minds.
Transformation in behaviour, attitude and reactions are the results of tasting the ‘Mental Fortune Cookies’ in the environment feeling satisfied with work, at its best with peace.

Womenlines takes pleasure to welcome Subah Jain as an Influencer for Food and Nutrition on Womenlines panel!
This dynamic young woman has already established herself as a sought-after wellness speaker and educator. Her YouTube channel, Satvic Movement. is quite popular and is delivering holistic, ageless and timeless knowledge of purifying the body and hence getting rid of all health problems without medicines. Subah wants to create awareness about how a plant-based diet can be helpful in getting rid of medicines and diseases!
Womenlines will be sharing various tips and recipes by Subah Jain to lead a healthy life. This month Subah is sharing about how ‘Wrong food is the root cause of all diseases’-
If you’re suffering from a health problem, be it big or small, all you’ll hear from the media or from doctors is, “take this drug or that drug” “pop a pill and make yourself feel better again”. Sure, drugs do take the symptoms away. But, every time you stop taking them, the problem re-appears, isn’t it? And every time it re-appears, it gets much worse than it was in the first place. That’s because medicines SUPPRESS, not CURE. They do not remove the root of the problem. In this video, I discuss that the wrong food is the root cause of all diseases. Learn how to cure your disease by changing your diet and eating foods straight from Nature.

Womenlines welcomes Anji Hallewell as an Influencer of Positive Mindset on the Womenlines panel. Anji is a Speaker, Coach, Trainer on Self-Mastery & Performance and Founder of Natural Genius Academy. In her sharing for this month, Anji is sharing ultimate tips to how to be more productive in work by managing emotions-
We’ve all been in that situation where you’ve said or done something that you later wish you’d handled differently, but emotions took over. Whether that is snapping at a family member, being too head-strong in a meeting or using the wrong choice of words, there are moments that you wish you could rewind and do differently. Sadly, until such a device exists for you to rewind time, the answer is to get a better handle on your emotions.
I get it, you are a busy professional and you have a lot on your plate. It’s difficult to keep it together all the time and I can assure you that you are not alone. The constant demands, deadlines, meetings, lack of desk time, the growing to-do list and the internal miscommunication is not only chaotic but can push you to your limits!
One of the biggest complaints that I hear from professionals is their self-proclaimed inability to manage their emotions. They know it is happening, but they have no idea what to do about it. So, let me help you a little with this as I know firsthand how draining at can be in you. Here are 3 key things that opened up a different reality for me when it came to managing my emotions:
Your Choice of Words
When you are articulating how you are feeling, to yourself or otherwise, your choice of words are really important. When you get angry, you may say “I am angry”, but are you the anger? Whilst the sky has clouds in it, you don’t mistake the clouds for the sky. It’s the same with you and the emotions that are present. You do not become the emotion; you merely experience the emotion. There is a very subtle, yet impactful, change that you can make in your choice of words. Instead of saying “I am angry” try “I am experiencing anger” instead. It creates distance between you and the emotion, making it clear that it is something separate from you. People often tell me that it somehow doesn’t feel as intense, so it’s less likely to escalate to a point that it completely takes over.
Emotions will Always Pass
The very nature of emotions is that they are bundles of energy. And energy moves. The clue is in the name, e-motion. The energy in motion. Therefore, any emotion that you experience will always move on. As a busy professional working in a multinational, pulling an average of 60-hours per week, I used to get frustrated A LOT! Understanding that it would always pass really helped me because I could remind myself that the feeling of frustration would not last forever. It meant that there was always an end in sight. In a strange kind of way, knowing this generated a sense of hope and peace of mind which made it feel ok.
Don’t Block their Path
Building on from the above point, the learnt tendency when you experience an unpleasant emotion is to clamp down on it – to stop it in its tracks. But all that does is stops it from moving on. It would be like putting the barrier down on a car as it’s trying to exit a carpark and then expecting the car to just disappear. We want to resist unpleasant emotions because we don’t like how they feel. But all emotions are data points for us. They can tell us when someone has overstepped the mark or perhaps when insecurity has been triggered within us. So, instead of seeing some as “good” and others as “bad”, life would be easier if we accepted all emotions as being there, so they can pass on by.
In closing, emotions are everything, they are the driving force behind all your actions, behaviours, words and state of mind. When you treat them equally and understand them, you can take positive steps to manage your emotions and maintaining the status quo. Leaving you feeling calm and collected no matter what is happening. It’s not going to happen overnight, but continual practice will see you on the path to self-mastery. In the ‘Professional Expert of the Month’ section, Womenlines takes pleasure to share about Communication Coach from Switzerland Amy Carroll.
Amy leads programs worldwide working with multinationals, independently and in partnership with Pat Kirkland Leadership. More specifically, Amy coaches clients to become more dynamic, effective and candid communicators, developing their ability to influence others by creating powerful partnerships. Read in her own words and listen to her about her journey as a Communication Coach-
Q1. What challenges did you face when you started your journey as a communication coach?
In the beginning, I felt like an imposter because I didn’t fully believe I knew what I was doing. It was a matter of time and consistent experience/exposure to successful outcomes which built my confidence and melted away that feeling of being a fraud. I’ve since discovered that, at the start of a new career, many people have similar experiences of this ‘imposter’ syndrome. I have since embraced this feeling and know that it may appear from time to time whenever I embark on new adventures and challenges.
Q2. What according to you is the key to excelling in communication skills?
A willingness to change and the desire to communicate with respect for yourself and others.
Q3. What pitfalls does one need to avoid while communicating, is there a stark difference in professional and personal communication?
In my opinion, there’s not a significant difference between personal and professional communication. In fact, the more open and honest a person is willing to be, regardless of the relationship, the more trust they build. Pitfalls to avoid while communicating include the need to be right, the need to push our opinion and the resistance to listening to others especially when you disagree.
Q4. What are the shifts your coachees can look forward to while working with you?
Many of my coachees find themselves having big ‘Ah Ha’ moments regarding their behaviours or attitude, realising how they have unintentionally been sabotaging their relationships and results. Coachees have reported their ability to get more of what they want, more often, with less difficulty. They also notice an increase in their confidence, courage and joy!
Q5. Your source of inspiration?
I have two sources of inspiration. My desire is to contribute to world peace, helping people evolve their communication consciously by handling, dissipating and even eliminating conflict with the least amount of damage. My second source of inspiration is my sister Pat Kirkland for developing herself both personally and professionally and
creating a communication model: Predator, Prey, Partner®, that is teaching people to communicate greater respect for themselves and others.
Q6. What should our audience be looking out for from you for the next 5 months?
I’ll be running a 90-minute webinar on 21st June in conjunction with Leadership Demystified and Media partners Womenlines and Human Capital, introducing the ‘Predator, Prey, Partner® model’ (Leadership Demystified Webinars has requested Rs. 2500 for the Webinar. Visit Leadership Demystified Webinars https://www.facebook.com/groups/322250961835979/ to know details about the webinar.
In July I’m very excited to be launching my 2-day intensive program specifically for couples, which is modelled after my highly successful Leadership Presence training: Partner Your Partner https://www.carrollcoaching.com/partner-your-partner.
Additionally, I’ll be running my Leadership Presence course for leaders at all levels in London in October https://www.carrollcoaching.com/openprogram.

BUILDING YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS (BYE) CAMPAIGN – THE MOST AWAITED EDUCATIONAL EVENT IN NIGERIA FOR 2019.
Womenlines takes pleasure to share about a powerful campaign in Nigeria named ‘Building Young Entrepreneurs(BYE)’. Founder Bright Oloyo, Motivational speaker, Business consultant, mentor, career coach and C.E.O of Black Pride Multipurpose Company, with a collection of seasoned Entrepreneurs from around the world are embarking on a rescue mission “Building Young Entrepreneurs” across Nigeria, Africa’s most populous black nation. This campaign is based on the theme ‘Steering Young Minds Towards Entrepreneurship and Good Leadership.’ Considered to be the biggest campaign running over 1000 schools across Nigeria.
An interview of Mr Bright Oloyo Founder and convener of the BYE campaign by Womenlines-
- What is the reason behind this initiative?
In the face of growing unemployment coupled with an education system that is designed to produce job seekers rather than job creators, the importance of a mindset change of school-age children in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized. The focus should be the creation and management of new small businesses which actually make the success stories of developed economies.
- What are the aims and objectives of this campaign?
The campaign in collaboration with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) and a collection of seasoned entrepreneurs from around the world is designed to steer young minds in entrepreneurial and Industry Leadership skills, to prepare them for the challenges therein and provide them with the needed guidelines required to succeed. It is to also identify and provide support in the form of coaching and mentoring for these future leaders.
- Who is your target audience?
The campaign is targeted at secondary/high school students across the country. An estimated one thousand secondary/high schools and fifty thousand (50,000) Students are expected to benefit across the various locations.
- Why the choice of secondary/high schools?
This is basically because students in Nigeria choose their career paths while in secondary/high schools and pursue this path upon admission into the university. Hence it is imperative that they are the target.
- What is the campaign expected to achieve?
The campaign will help us identify students who are interested in entrepreneurship and a selected number of these students will be accepted into our coaching and mentoring program which is purposed to guide them towards becoming successful entrepreneurs.
- Are there other partners or contributors apart from NAPPS?
We are humbled by the level of local and international support the campaign has attracted, such as Womenlines – an internationally recognized online journal. The National Black Unity News, which is the Largest National Minority Newspaper in the United States, who have dedicated a page in their publication to the BYE campaign, also the campaign workbook was prepared and donated by Ms Fran Allen a renowned American author and motivational speaker. While locally we have enjoyed the support of Mr Segun Oruame the CEO of Qitech technologies who is fostering collaboration between the BYE campaign and technology brands that are into entrepreneurial programs. We are also collaborating with Mrs Helen Oshikoya the CEO of Nobelova Gradani Psychoeducational Services, who is a chartered educational assessor and certified child development clinician towards organizing a successful campaign…and a few others.
- What is the effect of the support of Womenlines on the campaign?
It is important to state that collaborations like this amongst people around the world foster growth. The act of promoting the campaign in their publication to this campaign not only inspires these kids to be better but gives them a sense of belonging and value. They feel accepted and united in this global village we live in. It also creates collaboration between African owned businesses and those in Asia. So I will say, the impact is enormous

8. Who are some of the facilitators for this campaign?
As previously stated we have a mix of both local and international facilitators such as
- Bobby Umar – 5× TEDx Speaker and Inc Magazine Top 100 Leadership Speaker
- Fran Allen – Renowned American Author and Motivational Speaker
- Arc Bayo Adewakun – Principal partner – B-WAKS consultants
