Your Healthy Snacks for Women Guide

I am super delighted to present my Womenlines family Healthy Snacks for Women guide!

As a passionate advocate for healthy living, I’m constantly on the lookout for snacks that are not only quick to prepare but also packed with wholesome goodness. In this series, I’ll share my experiments with super-healthy, time-saving recipes. Here’s my latest creation—delicious, nutritious, and made with love!

Superfood Delight-

Ingredients:

  • Date Syrup: 1 cup (for natural sweetness)
  • Roasted Mixed Nuts: 1½ cups (almonds, cashews, walnuts, or your favorites)
  • Dry Coconut Powder: 1 cup (adds texture and flavor)
  • Golden Raisins or Dry Cranberries: ¼ cup (for a tangy twist)
  • Roasted Lotus Seeds (Makhana) Powder: 1 cup
  • Peanut Powder: 1 cup (rich and nutty taste)

Method to Prepare Superfood Delight:

  1. Prepare the Base:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the date syrup and peanut powder to form a sticky mixture. This will act as the binding agent.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients:
    Gradually mix in the roasted mixed nuts, dry coconut powder, and lotus seeds. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly coated with the date syrup.
  3. Incorporate Raisins/Cranberries:
    Toss in the golden raisins or dry cranberries for a tangy burst of flavor.
  4. Shape the Mixture:
    Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls or press it into a lined tray to cut into bars later.
  5. Chill and Set:
    Place the shaped snacks in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to firm up.
  6. Serve and Store:
    Enjoy these energy-packed delights! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  • 2 small bananas (or 1 large banana)
  • 150g shredded coconut
  • Melted chocolate (optional, for extra sweetness)

Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 10 mins!
