Global Goodwill Ambassadors (GGA) recognize good people across the world performing humanitarian work while promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. GGA community believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Richard DiPilla, who is the founder of GGA community, started this community with a belief that the value of human kindness is immeasurable and he feels proud that GGA community has become a beacon of light for so many good-hearted people from around the world. With this initiative, his goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need.
Keeping with the high spirits of GGA theme, GGA team of Singapore visited Tuas South Dorm to motivate migrant workers in Singapore. As an online media partner, Womenlines takes pleasure to share about the experience in the words of GGA and chairperson GGA Singapore and Life Coach MS Shuchi-
Making the world a kinder, brighter place ~
Global Goodwill Ambassadors, Singapore team believes
that we need to put down our phone and have a face-to-face conversation with people we care about so we visit many places including the Migrant Workers’ Dormitories.
If you are doing the same then know that you are making the world a better place by doing so.
You are making a difference, even in the smallest ways.
We say “I believe in you”
Encourage them when they share that they are working toward a goal. We let them know that we see them succeed.
We reach out to people who seem to be struggling.
We ask, “What can I do now to help and support you?”
We let them know we care and we are there for them.
After our talks with them, they start to expect good things to happen. They feel more optimistic and hopeful.
Together we can each make the world a kinder, brighter place with our everyday actions.
We uplift spirits of others in many ways, how do you uplift spirits of others?
