Quotation of the week!

Quotation of the week- “No person is your friend (or kin) who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow and be perceived as fully blossomed as you were intended.”
Alice Malsenior Walker (born February 9, 1944) is an American author, self-declared feminist and womanist—the latter a term she herself coined to make a special distinction between the experiences of women of colour. She has written at length on issues of race and gender and is most famous for the critically acclaimed novel The Color Purple, for which she won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee. ~ Marian Wright Edelman an American activist for the rights of children. She is president and founder of the Children’s Defense Fund
